This week has been a whirlwind of change for illuminate gym as we move closer and closer to making our self a viable force in the fitness industry. Our franchise model has progressed so much over the past 3 years and today we are confident in our ability to teach and help guide people to an amazing franchise opportunity. As a business owner I sat down for lunch with a great friend and a mentor to speak about the future of illuminate gym and our future franchisees. My mentor looked down at me and gave me a few words of advice as I move into the role of being a CEO.
He said ‘David I know you’ll put in all the hours you need to make sure that your company and your future franchisees are on track… But I want you to remember one thing within your business… Always…. And I mean always run your business with honesty and integrity.” I promised I would and he looked down and said, ‘I know your franchise is going to be very successful because you are building this business with all the right intentions. In order to be really successful you can’t do it for the money. Do it because you love it and you want to help people.’
My mentors words have been rushing through my mind all day and they made me excited for our future franchisees and the overall development of illuminate gym. This is an exciting company to be a part of and I can’t wait to partner up with future entrepreneurs to develop illuminate gym’s across the country.
