lluminate Gym looks into the nutritional values of its customers, as working out is just not enough. Many trainers who start working for Illuminate Gym work at facilities and on personal training programs where nutrition is not considered to be an important part of a clients’ training. Trust me we have a heard a million times from trainers.
‘That’s not my job; I’m a personal trainer not a nutritionist. I’ll show them how to work out period,’ says the trainer.
There may be some truth in that statement from the personal trainer however, at Illuminate Gym our success is truly based on the success of our customers in the way they feel, look and view their newfound life after beginning a workout regimen at Illuminate Gym. So if you believe 70% of losing weight is purely diet then whey wouldn’t we have our personal trainers at all of our franchise locations help our clients with their diets? That’s why at Illuminate Gym we are committed to answering questions about people’s diets to not only give our customers the best chance for success, but also to build a strong repoure with our customers that’s based on a trust of our personal training staff’s knowledge and wisdom as it pertains to not only working out but also to diet and a healthier lifestyle overall.
If your personal trainer is not willing to speak to you about nutrition at all then they are not helping you as much as they possibly could, It’s true a lot of personal trainers at Illuminate Gym or anywhere for that matter, are not certified nutritionists, but they are in the business of helping people achieve their fitness goals which always incorporates diet and nutrition. It doesn’t matter if a person hires a personal trainer to help them build muscle or to lose weight their results will hinge not only on their workouts, but also on their nutrition. Illuminate Gym eyes an October 7th Grand Opening in St. Louis!
Chesterfield—September 19, 2011—Illuminate Gym, affordable personal training featuring unique High Oxygen Training (HOT), announcing publicly that we are eyeing an October 7th Grand Opening in Chesterfield, Missouri. Illuminate Gym and ‘High Oxygen Training’ were founded by David Sedbrook in Denver, Colorado and today Illuminate Gym is offering franchises nationwide and has plans to grow to multiple facilities in the St. Louis market.

A lot has changed over the past 10 years since September 11th 2011. In fact, Illuminate Gym and Illuminate Gym Franchise Development was born during this time period. Over the weekend all the media coverage of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 brought about some very powerful memories for me. In many ways I would tell you that Illuminate Gym and our franchise model were born because of the events of September 11th. During that day I found myself living in a city I didn’t want to live in and working a job that I really didn’t want. In other words, September 11th made me re-think my entire life realizing that life is a fleeting thing that can be stripped from us at any time. I think after the anger of the attacks had left me the lasting feeling I had was one of longing for the life I always wanted. I wanted a life that was fulfilling and that’s when I decided I wanted to help people to a healthier future and to feel better about themselves. That’s when Illuminate Gym was conceived.
Today Illuminate Gym Franchise Development is offering fitness franchises across the United States and we are finding people just like I was after 9/11 who are ready to make a change in their life for the better. They are sometimes people like I was who are working in a job as far from the fitness industry as possible who are looking to get into a a wellness career they can be passionate about via Illuminate Gym Franchise Development. Fads always find a way into our lives through music, fashion and yes even through fitness. What does continued franchise support? Does it mean that a franchisor will strive to support a franchisee financially? The answer to that is absolutley not. I can see now where there could be some real confusion with the term ‘franchise support’. So I will try and clarify for those people looking into franchising in the future. Franchise support is merely the act of offering advice and direction to franchise owners when needed. Franchisors are also not mind-readers so it’s important that franchisees understand that they have to reach out for franchise support. ’Franchise support’ is a mjor reason why an entrepreneur should join a franchise unit. At Illuminate Gym Franchise Development we feel that people should be passionate about the fitness industry and helping people. From there we have found the building blocks of a good fitness franchise unit. Many Monday mornings bring about a lot of focus on fitness and franchising here at Illuminate Gym Franchise Development. However, today we take a moment to look at something a little more important than the business of franchising as late last night we found out in the United States that Osama Bin Laden had been killed by a special forces group in Pakistan. Osama Bin Laden of course had become the most notorious terrorist in the world after September 11, 2011. I like to think as a person I never wish harm on anyone however, this time it was a bit hard not to sigh a sense of relief when the news came back that the world had rid itself of Osama Bin Laden.
Life will surely go on here at Illuminate Gym Franchise Development, but I can tell you that the assassination of Bin Laden definitely brought back the memories of September 11, 2011 for me. Fitness in America has drastically changed over the past 30 years for the worst. As the United States has become a haven for a sedentary workforce and our nutrition habits have continued to deteriorate we are getting fatter. The question we always ask ourselves here at Illuminate Gym Franchise Development is how we are getting so much more unhealthy in the United States when the health and fitness industry is literally a billion dollar industry every single year in the United States and the fitness franchise world has been growing exponentially as well, yet people are still getting fatter and fatter.

The place is Denver, Colorado and it was where the personal training philosophy ‘High Oxygen Training’ was born. However, the truth is that ‘High Oxygen Training’ was born long before Illuminate Gym was a franchise opportunity and even long before there was a fitness facility called Illuminate Gym. It was called Sunshine Gym. For years now there has been confusion amongst our customers at Illuminate Gym in Denver about what our name really is. ’Is it Sunshine Gym or is it Illuminate Gym?’ they always ask. There confusion about our ‘brand’ is very understandable because over the past few years it’s been tough for our local customers because as a company we have always maintained the domain www.sunshinegym.com because it carried so much clout in the Denver, Cherry Creek and Hilltop communities. However, last week we just released our new website locally in Denver, Colorado to bring our original location into the Illuminate Gym Franchise Family. The new website can be seen at www.illuminategym.com/Denver. This new site still looks a bit generic however, within the next couple of months the site will be ready to showcase a new-look Illuminate Gym site for all of Denver, Colorado to see.
